18 dead (so far), 600,000 (or 16,000, I wasn't listening) without power, over 12,000 flights cancelled. New York greatfully avoided most of the storm. Unfortunatly though, there are apparently huge floods in many places. Currently it's moving up through New England and heading to Canada. Vermont was hit very hard - did you see the floods there on the news? Anyway, now it's no longer a hurricane but a tropical storm. Anyway, the storms pretty much over now for us. |

Yea, thanks! Hopefully the hurricane won't decide to mutate and head towards Ontario either, so good luck if that happens! ;D jk that would be weird. Anyway, all we have to worry about now is whether we're going to stop being lazy enough to pick up the tree branches that fell in the winds. |

Dude.o_o School got cancelled for yesterday and today.*dance* My power went out before the storm even came 8I And I spit on Irene o-o It SOUNDED pretty bad, but absolutely NO flooding here, and a big branch fell off the tree outside, but otherwise nothing O_o I live in Annapolis MD, btw :u EDIT: Oh, and my power came back on when the storm arrived xD

I'm not saying that, I'm just saying that Hurricane Irene was 90% hype, lol. First it was a Category 2. Then, it was a Category 1. Now, it's just a tropical storm. :) And yea, for all of you out there who experienced Irene as the Category 2, stay safe <3
