Well, I'm not so into grafting someones name into my flesh forever. Or tattoos. So let us say I am drawing it on with non-toxic washable marker. I'd probably have it drawn on my knuckles cuz that's pretty cool. As far as the name. I have no idea. Probably B A T on the right hand knuckles and M A N on the left. In all seriousness though, I would never tattoo someone's name into my flesh. D: |

I would never tattoo anyone's name into my skin too, but if I were to I would probably do my cats name on my ankle and because my cat's name is Gras.shopper I would also have a little picture of a gras.shopper next to it.

I don't want tattoos, but if I had no choice I'd get my great-grandfather's name, Charlie, on my ankle, probably. With a little navy blue ribbon underlining it. ^^

I have a tattoo of a word in ancient Greek on my upper thigh, i think thats a good place :)

It's strange.. we've all heard the stories - it hurts to get a tattoo removed more than get one done and easy to regret.

Somewhere you can hide it easily, if you ever chose to regret it. My cousin-in-law had a huge celtic design up and down her arms because it 'meant something to her'. (I wonder what a huge, complicated design could mean to somebody?) But it was obnoxious and ugly, and she (apparently) lost alot of jobs from it because they thought that she had drawn it on her hands. Maybe somewhere like your ankle, or you back. Since its your mother, I don't think she'd appreciate a tramp stamp. But honestly, I would hate somebody to tattoo my name onto their body, I think it's very selfish that I should make an unchanging mark on somebody's person. And I think it's a bit stalkorish, unless they're a close relative/lover. |

I would never get someone's name permantly tatooed onto my skin... but if I did get a tatoo I would probobly get one on my left ankle with the Korean sign of life... it is pictured below ^^ 
Mostly because one of my mottos are "When life isnt going right...go left.". So I get the symbol of life on my left ankle :D But this is IF IF IF i ever got a tatoo. And congrats on your mother, flare :D That is really cute of you

Me? Hmmm...I don't see myself getting words or names. I'm not that type. I'd love a tattoe of a wren in flight on the back of my neck though, since I have long hair.

i have one, its my grand parents initals (RL, they both had the same intals) with a train and they year they died (2010)

I'd put my girlfriend's name. She's helped me through so much. <3 But I prefer symbolism instead of words. I plan to get a tattoo representing her, but I think having an image to speak for itself is much nicer. c:
