so basically rainbow lorikeets are birds nativeto australia, and they're everywhere. i was at a friend's house an her father brought in this little bird wrapped in a towel and i was like ??? turns out he was hopping around the backyard, unable to fly. luckily i was able to take him in. for some reason he was really tame?? i think it's because he couldn't fly but yeah i was able to hold him and he loved to get as high up as possible. naturally my family loved him because we used to own rainbow lorries. 

it's been a few months now and he has learned to fly, but he's really tame and i cuddle him a lot and he just really likes licking everyone and everything. he eats grapes and likes to copy the noises you make. he's really cute so i just wanted to post a bunch of photos of him 8) and because birbs

This is when we first got him, really tame as you can see and flightless. he was young, you can tell by his dark eyes and beak.
