I finally saw it. Meh, the suspense was very good. But as Yoshi said... the blood was overdone. Really kind of naff. Still, I liked the rest of the artwork, and "SHE'S NOT HERE!" bit was kinda thrilling xD

Ah, maybe it's just that I've read a lot of creepypasta and other such things before. xD I know all the tricks and gimmicks. I'm used to it.

Which kind of makes me sad sometimes, actually. I find it really fun to be scared by a good story but nothing.. ever scares me anymore.

...

brb desperate creepypasta search aaaaaa

Also hee, Taco. :3

Funny how just a few days ago I read this before seeing this forum. There's an English version, but I lost the link to it. :C

Speaking of scary stuff, I play scary horror games on my computer at
night. Alone. With the lights off. And the window blinds open all the
way. With headphones. Especially if it's Amnesia.

That's why no one in my school can sneak up behind me, because I've
learned to be alert to my surroundings in five metres radius. Horror
games are a benefit to human society. :D

EDIT2: Huh. Weird edit.

OH Speaking of scary games, I dare you all to go play SCP-087 and SCP-087 B.
And read the story behind the game as well: http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-087

I had such a streak of paranoia after playing it. I was sure i was going to see SCP-087-1's face in my darkened window, and I ended up getting my cat to sleep with me the night I played it. Then the next night I didn't sleep until the sun came up. >>

Yeah, I am a bit of a wimp. I like scary stuff, but I still get pretty scared by things. According to my friend - who was playing SCP-087 and talking to me over Skype when I was playing it - I have a very nonchalant scream. When I'm shocked (by like sudden movements or things coming at me), it's not that I scream because I'm scared, it's more of just a instinctive reaction. XD It's the psychological horror and paranoia that gets me.

I actually plan on playing Amnesia with a friend some time over the summer probably, since we don't have spring break. We're gonna download the game on my laptop then hook it up to my dad's giant HD TV and play using a wireless keyboard and mouse.
We're going to scream and cry so much. XD

Also, do you guys watch any of PewDiePie's videos? He does a lot of scary games apparently, and the reaction videos I've seen from him are really funny. |D
"I don't wanna play this game anymoreee. ;~;"

There's a game for that one?

Show me this magic. o_o My pasta search last night was futile I need scary.

Man, I think the SCPs overall were the first stories in a long time to actually get to me when I read them. SCP-087 is probably the scariest - but my favorite was tle="" target="">SCP-093. It's really long if you read all the different colored tests but it's really cool too, and still pretty freaky, especially for the first few.

After that it just gets interesting in general. Kind of like it starts a off as one of those subtle scary stories that set out to be really unsettling (and gOSH IS THE FIRST TEST UNSETTLING) rather than downright scary. And then it becomes a story in its own right.

I cannot play those games. I can't I need my mom beside me for those. Practically the only thing I'm scared of are rotten corpses.

OH The SCPs. I've not played them yet, but I have seen Criken (big fan, lol) do a livestream of it, and I'm sure he was playing 087-B (I should really stop watching in the middle of the night; the neighbors are bound to call to report some sort of murder going on in my house from all the screaming.xD).

... I return with shame.

I. I downloaded the SCP-087 game.

And I fired it up.

And I heard the door slam shut and I stared down the black stairwell, and.

I chickened out. xD

I'll have to try it again later. I might quit again after a few steps but after I try it enough times I'm sure I can do it. 8Y I mean, hey, it took five or six attempts on Marble Hornets #23 but I still finally managed that. After like a week.

The problem I have with horror games is that I have an active imagination. Thusly I imagine myself there. Let me tell you I would love to live inside a great many video games and amnesia is definitely not one of them. The idea of waking up only finding a note from yourself to kill some random guy as an apparition is trying to kill you as you wander through a castle and you cannot escape at any second something could turn the corner and kill you and you are defenseless to do anything but run, and not only would it catch up to you but you could run into something else. Assuming you survive that long the walls are covered with pulsing flesh as he go further down to the rotting corpses of the people who have been tortured. *shudder*

Deciding to overcome the second comic I put on peppy music, looked away while scrolling to the bottom of the screen, then I scrolled up to the blood hand which startled me at first. Then I stared at it. Then I put on the head phones with the happy music. Then I laughed at how unfitting it was and how the hand kind of looked like a  running turtle

( The funniest part might be that even though the song is very up-beat, its about double suicide XD )

Yoshi, keep going! xD

Frankly, I just LOVE the thrill of being scared like that. They're like roller coasters to me. When nothing's happening, you get that same feeling like you're slowly going higher up to the top of the roller coaster. Like, you don't want to do this anymore, but you still keep going. Then when something pops up, it's like the whole trip down condensed in a millisecond.

Have you guys ever heard of the game The Calling? Great game, really. From what I've seen, anyway. Haven't played it yet, but I'm thinking of going over to a friend's for a sleepover. And we're going to play it at night.

I.. have managed to get to the first landing at least? xD

It's just so dark aaaaa and I know the face is down there somewhere.

Why did I have to already know what it's about this would be so much less scary without the backstory hhhhhhhh. And because it was like forever ago that I read the story my mind has played it up and I can't get past itttt.

It is a super fun feeling though. I've missed it really badly. I just. Have to work up the courage. xD
