So I started a mini convo on the SB about this and figured I'd set up a thread so people could talk about it if they want to. You can post your own stories, and read other peoples'. So mine is...I just recently had a dream that got me wondering, who else in the world has dreamed of someone they've never met before. Like a person you have no idea where they live in the world, but you KNOW that they actually DO exist right now, as they were in your dream. I can't wait to meet the person from my dream, because I KNOW I will meet them soon. :) This started a very interesting conversation. Post your thoughts/experiences on/with this and anything else that comes to mind.

I have a very deep connection with my cat. We've been together for a very long time. She is the only person I can trust completely, and love her a lot~ But not like normal love, we're on a very deep level. I've had one specific dream since I was literally 5 years old, and still do. Here it is: I'm in my houses front area, near the staircase and front door. The door is open, and Ziggy walks in. I say hi, feel weird, and see another replica behind me more and more cats fill up the house, and I try to find Ziggy among them, but I cant tell which one she is and I feel so terrible and I wake up crying every time. Dl Guilt. I wonder what I did, besides, and what I can do to fix it. Of course, Ziggy is in almost all my dreams. One I remember was very deep and I feel connected to it. For the first time, I spoke with her. I knew I had less than a few seconds and had no time to think of what I should ask, and so I blurted out "Do you know your name?" She told me yes, without saying yes... But She told me like with her mind or something D: And I just knew, that she knew her name. She knows her name. And I woke up sighing, and I cried into her a little, and she just looked at me and purred, and breathed to my rythm. I dunno. Maybe I'm crazy.

cool fizzy. this isn't a dream, but with me, whenever I think of a male ghost, I think of this one man very very clearly. like all the little details, how tall he is, what he's wearing, very specific. but I don't remember seeing him anywhere before, and I've always had him in my mind, never knowing who he is. I recently found out that my Grandma's house, which is nearby and I go to very often, is haunted by a guy who killed himself. and I'm wondering if a long time ago when I was little I saw him or something, but don't remember it very clearly. It's very very specific and detailed, I can't just make up a person that I don't even remember from a dream. It's like I even know him, not just like I know he exists, like his attitude, it's just weird and I need to know.

Sianiator, that's so weird - sounds like you have a connection to a ghost. Makes me wonder. Strange things DO happen. One of the not-so, but still slightly strange things I've experienced: I had this dream about a little grey/white kitten walking up to me, saying "I'm LilyMoon, and I am YOUR cat!"... 2 months later a friend 's cat had some kittens.... Up in his attic, a few pretty & fluffy ones, and a little grey/white non-fluffy one that was waaay too adventurous for her own good, she ended up with a limp because of being stuck in the rafters in the attic for too long and having to be rescued. I didn't really want a cat at the time, but started considering it, since he really needed homes for them all. In the end I decided I'd take the little grey/white one, because of the dream. His flatmate started wondering the same day, said he wanted to keep her, and he wanted to call her "SillyMoo" I never got over how similar LilyMoon & SillyMoo sounded (and I hadn't told either of them about the dream).... LilyMoon came to live with us, and I had a special connection with her...

I was part of The Mimix - a group consisting me , Foo Yihn, Li Hui and Abigail. I shall now shortly summarize each. I am rather tall, rather milk-tea-ish skinned. I was the one that came up with this whole best friend thing about 5 years ago - we never had secrets between us. Li Hui lived just a few blocks away from me, and I visited her more often than the others. She was the one who gave me my hamsters as a birthday gift. Li Hui is what one calls emo and has frequent mood swings. She would yell, "Go away," and we would know practically everything on her mind. I could, however, know the exact reason of this. Foo Yihn and Li Hui grew up together since 3, at the same nursery, and she knows her better than us. Foo Yihn was like magic - she could calm Li Hui down - like taming a hurricane - but without much effort. Abigail was a very quiet person, but when one is near her she can control their emotions. Abigail was the school's fastest runner. Nobody really knows about these gifts. We would gather at a large oak tree every day, and sometimes, receive the same dreams. We often had ominous proclamation from God. "There is a troubled girl, like Li Hui. Abigail, you must team up with Eilis[me], Foo Yihn and Li Hui to help her, rescue her from the brink of death."...

Well, this isn't really supernatural, it's probably just from knowing her, but I can basically read my mum's mind. I'll know exactly what she's going to say, even if she doesn't know how to finish her sentence. She doesn't even bother with 'guess what?'s anymore, because no matter how random it is, I'll guess it. xD I also have a knack for quoting movies I've never seen before.

Well, i had a cat dying streak awhile back. When the first died, That night I felt a heavy pressure on one of my legs. Another died, another small spot of pressure somewhere else. So, As cats one by one died, more pressure spots came. Now every night, when I can't sleep, My cats visit me and lay on my legs to hep me sleep. :3

This is more creepy than supernatural. XD My mom sleeps with her eyes open. (I have weird family) I sleepwalk often, and my mom always bolts upright for no apparent reason because she says she saw someone in the doorway. Sometimes, it's me sleepwalking. Most of the time, she just thinks she sees them. Also, she says that sometimes she sees my dad's grandma leaning over him, once with a knife. Really creeped me out. Also, my friend was sleeping and she had a dream that a man wearing all black was standing in her doorway, and he just smiled kindly and walked into the next room. She told me that in front of her mom and her sister, and they had the same dream, too. She had this dream three years ago. Her grandpa died three years ago. The man, according to her, seemed to be her grandpa. :)

Mine's only short. ;c haha. I hear people calling my name when no one actually is. Once when I was at home with Mum I heard her (Or someone else o-o) call my name. I answered back, yelling "Yes?" Mum came into my room and was like, "What?" She hadn't said anything. ;o I had really heard someone calling my name. That isn't even supernatural. ;c I'm just crazy.

Ghost story! ;D My mom told me that when I was maybe 2 years old we lived in a house that was haunted. She said that she would hear voices and noises in the middle of the night and always have my dad get up to check around the house. There was no one there. The next day, she said that her and my dad would come downstairs and all of my stuffed animals and dolls would be in a perfect circle in the center of the livingroom floor. Creepy, huh? Things would randomly just fall off of tables and counters. But I don't remember any of it so that's a really good thing! XD My mom said she wasn't afraid of our ghost and even gave hime a name. Chester. :) She said that she would talk to Chester and scold him whenever he knocked things over. "Now, Chester. Stop pushing Megan's bottle off of the counter!"
Want a disco ball, like me? Rmail me and I\'ll make you one! :)

xD My televisions get posessed if they're in the masterbedroom. We've had three in there since we first moved in. And all of them had the same things happen to them. First the menu will flash on and off for a bit, then return to normal for a few hours. And then the menu flashing bit starts happening again. And this can continue for a few days or weeks. Then the volume will start randomly going down to zero. Turn it back up right afterwards, and it goes back down to zero a short time later. Though, as time progresses, it'll turn down quicker, so that as soon as you turn it up, it turns back down. Once we didn't trash a TV at this point, and it progressed to the channels being changed constantly on you. xD We swicthed it over from cable TV to the satellite we usually use upstairs thinking maybe it was the cable and that it'll stop interrupting our shows. Nope. Same thing happened. Channels changed like crazy. After the first two TVs did that, we brought them in to be repaired but no one could find anything wrong with them. Moving them out of the room helped though, so no more TV in the masterbedroom. Though the third one was in the bedroom for a few weeks and started glitching before we moved it to the livingroom, and I swear I can hear it playing at night. But I get up to check and it'll be turned off like I left it. Electronics hate me.

MandK: O_O Elmer: That's weird. Another thing: I live in New Jersey, and there's this big story that kids always talk about. According to the story, in New Jersey, a woman gave birth to a demon child, with the head of a goat, bloodred eyes, the body of a zebra, and the tail of a horse. (Or something like that) Anyways, my friends and I were sitting outside on a sunny day in the middle of summer. One of them decides to tell the story of the Jersey Devil. She does, and all of a sudden, I feel a drop of rain. I walk out into the street and look up at the sky. (Note: I am not stupid, I live on a street with very few cars.) It is now a threatening gray, and there seems to be only one gigantic cloud. It was shaped EXACTLY like the Jersey Devil's head. I waved my friends over to look, and suddenly, lightning flashed in the shy REALLY close. We all ran inside. It was weird. Also, about 15 years ago, kids used to tell stories about an evil clown that lived in the woods around my area. My street used to have an easter egg hunt every easter, and at that time, one neighbor of mine was about 7. She went into the woods to look for plastic eggs, and suddenly, she heard a sound. The evil clown ran at her from the woods and chased her away. He went back into the woods. They found him dead in the woods years later. The thing is, people say that he was actually just a homeless man with autism that chased children, trying to give them candy. He WAS found dead, though.

Omg No clowns. Dx I live in BC and I've heard of the Jersey Devil. xD Channel changing TVs got almost funny sometimes, like during noon when all the gameshows were on... 'And survey says...' 'This showcase could be yours if the Price is Right!' 'And that's my final answer'. xD

I had another dream a long time ago a couple of months after my grandma died. Well, two different dreams, actually. In the first one, I was in school and late for lunch, but when I was rushing there, I saw my grandma standing in front of the art room. I stopped to talk to her and gave her about 15 hugs, like I did the last time I saw her. After I got done hugging her, she said her side hurt and I apologized to her. She told me it was okay and All people did anymore was apologize to her. Then I told her I loved her and went on to lunch. I have no idea what the whole dream meant, but a part of me woke up and I think I realized she died on the day I thought I was so stressed out over finals. I thought I was crying because I was really stressed out, but I think I realized I was crying because I was so close to her and a part of my brain knew she died. And I also think I somehow knew that the last time I saw her would be the last time I'd ever see her. And that's why I hugged her so many times. The second one I don't think had ANY meaning at all. It was basically her telling me she didn't love me and she never loved me at all. I woke up crying my eyes out at 4 in the morning and couldn't go back to sleep after that. I think that's the worst dream I've ever had. :(
