...I really wish people would stop complaining about the Tesuri revamp.

Regardless of which version you like more, looking at the evolution of the Tesuri Roxas posted it's clear the revamp is superior than the previous Tesuri in both color and ex
pression. Period.

Not to mention all the talk about how users don't like the new Tesuri is incredibly rude to the artist that drew it. KiraraNeko deserves a lot more respect than this.

Wow ImmaStar, hold your horses. :S First of all I think you're overreacting a bit, lol. I never said anything along the lines of "no one should like the old Tesuri" anywhere in my post. o_o If you got that idea I think you should go back and re-read it. And none of what I said was directed specfically at Macklynrich--I do know that she likes the revamp, she just likes the old one more. She said so earlier. :P So calm down.

To paraphrase what I said before: Regardless of which version you like more it's clear that the revamp has improved artistically, and the talk about how the revamp sucks compared to the old version is very rude to KiaraNeko, which is a problem.

...I didn't say anything about everyone who likes the old version has a wrong opinion. Anywhere. XD

But you know what is also unfair?  Who ever drew the first and second tesuri must feel kinda bad becuz they drew it but it was changed you know? And the only other thing that bothered me was that the 1st 2 looked kinda the same this is so different and might take a bit to get used to

Although I do like the revamp more, it'd be silly for me to be upset with you just because you like the old version more. ;3

Edit: Well, the decision to revamp the Tesuri was ultimately Pat's on both accounts. It does seem a bit unfair, but if you think about it Pat always does what he can to improve Res for us users, which includes revamping creatu every now and then. c: I'm sure the artist of both of the old Tesuris understand this, too. c:

Yeh, Balet certainly doesn't seem sad her work was revamped, from her comment on the update. P: She actually seemed to like it pretty well - said it has a sort of flare now that it really needed.

I imagine any improving artist wouldn't be too sad about a revamp. We all end up unsatisfied with old work eventually - skill level can change a ton within a year or two, which is often the amount of time between Creatu revamps. By the time the pet starts needing a revamp, the artist will certainly see that.

The Otachie's a good example. Liz did its two most recent versions, and there's so much improvement between the two, it's insane. In another deviation in her gallery with a few other Creatu in it, she actually commented that most of her old versions make her wanna gouge her eyes out. xD Old art syndrome? Definitely.
