 So, I've heard this song, loved it, downloaded it, and heard it about a bazillion more times, but I don't really...get it, y'know? I don't understand what this song's about D:.

I've attempted Wikipedia-ing it, but it doesn't say what the song's about.

So if anyone out there knows (or has a pretty good idea) of just what this song's about, please do tell :).

Haha. It's the Beastie Boys, it doesn't need to make sense! ;D

But honestly, from my perspective, it sounds like the first verse is saying that people keep doubting their style and their music and that they're challenging people to try and talk bad about them.
Then the second verse is kind of saying that they aren't going to listen to what everyone says. They're better than what people think they are, and people are just talking bad because they're jealous.
Then the last verse is just saying that everyone should chill out and enjoy the music, but if they still want to fight about, they're gonna lose.

There's my explanation. xD
It's probably not what they had in mind while writing that, but that's just how I interpret it. C:
