A thread for people to post weird, or really, any thoughts you had as a kid.

Some examples -

I thought that since it was raining where I lived, it had to be raining everywhere else in the world, too.  The weather had to be the same everywhere.

I also thought the cookies and other desserts in krogers were free, since the sliding doors opened on my side.  *Manfa, Manfa, Look, there's free cookies!*  XD  I was kind of embarr*censored*ed when my mom and grandma told me they weren't and I'd already eaten half of mine.

The only one I can think of is thanks to a music video. Around the middle it shows a humanoid creature taking another's ear out of his head and setting it on the floor.. and then the video zooms to inside the ear-square, where there's a little man running around.

So I thought we all had little earwax-people inside our ears.

I'm sure that video could have given me a few more thoughts as well, since my dad played it so much, but I was always afraid to watch to the end. Just after that point the earwax-people grow mouths and start biting onto the girl's face, and then a guy with a big head appears and just kind of.. spontaneously combusts. xD Pretty scary to a seven-year-old.

When I was little I always wondered what and where I was, and why I could think and do things.  I really was clueless about life. xD

And I thought that you could become whatever you want (including animals) when you grew up. xDDD

Oh god. List tiem.

-I used to say 'Be Pacific' instead of 'be specific'. I was all like, "Say whuuut?" (All ganster ghetto like that) when people told me to be specific.

-I used to believe that China was cartoon-world, a sign of somebody being raised on Mulan.

-I thought that all animals were Pokemon who had 'lost their powers'. I didn't judge the whole completly-different-anatomy as relevant.

-I thought that animals could speak to each other, and that French (which was the only foreign language I had heard of) was the way people could communicate to animals. So basically, animals spoke French.

-I thought the wardrobe was out to get me.

-I thought that if you went to church alot, a stork would bring you a baby.

-I thought that houses, shops and buildings in general were made by God.

Dammit science/ common sense, why did you have to ruin my childhood?

When I was little I thought if youdrank too much of anything you would get drunk. So I got "drunk" off of kool-aid once and had to was my sheets the next day >.<

When I was little, (this is more of a memory than a thought) I remember standing in my hallway and just knowing that I was 3 and 3/4 years old, and for some reason there was an image of a potato in my mind.

I have no idea.  XD

I just remembered more. ^o^

When I was little I thought that 'lava' was pronounced 'lama', so I went to school one day and started talking about this TV show that was filming volcanoes (or was it a cartoon....? :P) and was screaming, 'Yesterday I was watching this show about things called volcanoes!  And some red stuff called lama comes out of it!"  And whenever something that had something to do with volcanoes popped up on the TV I would shout out, "Lama!" xD

... D'awe. Twi's reminds me of something.

I used to watch movies every night because I was afraid of the dark and silence. The Aristocats was a pretty common one, and I always ended up watching the previews too.

It was this preview that I misunderstood. Around 0:40.

Pretty much, that part made me think 'kiss' could also be used as a word for punch.

You could use that in your defense trial, yoshi. :U

Also. My mum told me that I should marry a man when I got older. So everytime I was at a restaurant I thought I had to choose a man (not a boy, but a full grown man) to marry. D:
