Thanks Merlin. I get it. I've been a highly successful global sales executive for over 20 years. If there is one thing I understand its how to take advantage of supply vs demand.
Here is the thing...the vast majority of the players on Res are young. Many of the players, whether new to the game or experienced, don't have a good understanding of the true value of an item, pet, name etc...and could easily be taken advantage of by those who do. I always want to be on the side of educating those players as I'd hate to see any of them make an uninformed decision that could cost them millions of tu.
If an informed player determines to make a trade like this, that is one thing. It is another altogether if someone is truly uninformed and is only going by current shop prices. So, if pointing out something like that helps someone to negotiate from a more educated standpoint, I am good with it. I'm certainly NOT trying to hinder your game/business, rather, I am just trying to be a conscientious player.
