Yush. So I was told that a certain style of art I do would be pretty popular here on Res. So I'm going to see if anyone is interested in commissions :3
I call it 'realistic' style. It's actually fairly complicated and time-consuming, so be warned, it will be pretty expensive :P
Here is my favorite example (drag and drop for full, non-stretchy view):
Here's a couple more fuzzy examples. The first two are actually just copies of other people's pictures that I did for practice; all props go to the original photographer for the pose and such.
I also do non-fuzzy things, but not quite as well. Here's a dragon for example.
Now, for pricing. I'm thinking in the 2 mil - 3 mil range, considering the amount of effort it takes for me to complete one of these pictures. However, I understand if you think this is too expensive. Please let me know, and maybe we can work something out. But for now, this is what I'm going with.
2 mil for /just/ a picture of your pet; no background what-so-ever.
2.5 mil for a picture of your pet with a vague/general background
3 mil for a picture of your pet with a good background
Tips are <3ed. :3 -winkwink hinthint-
I may open commissions for my other styles of art later on, but for now, we'll see how this goes.
To apply (please note, I will not take on all commissions, just the ones I think I will be able to complete in a reasonable amount of time), please tell me /everything/ you possibly can about the picture you want me to create. The more detailed you are, the more likely the end product will look like what you are envisioning. If you want a background, please specify what type and how detailed you want it to be. This includes the pose you want (facing front? Sideways? Backwards? One paw raised? Tail visable or not? That sort of thing) and what kind of background you want, if you're paying for one. Feel free to provide reference pictures, either for your animal's pose/markings or the background.
And that's all I can think of. Let me know if I forgot something. :)
