** The Tuft Shop **
'Ello. Welcome to my shop. I sell Tufts.
But you might want to know what they are and how they look like.
This is a Tuft.
Tufts are little creatures that like to nibble on books.
They're born translucent and too small to be seen with the naked eye.
Their nature is to venture far to just any bookshelf in pairs and live on it for the rest of their lives.
A few hours after hatching, they would have cozily settled by a corner of a shelf.
Then they would begin their feast: the thickest book they can find on their habitats.
Their body colors and markings depend on what the ti
tle of the book is, though no one knows why.
Mutations occur on some and a few even find accessories to suit their tastes.
After the change of appearance, Tufts begin to grow until they are big as a child's palm.
(That's also when people notice nibble marks on their books, and when Tufts suddenly lose appetites for books.)
Many people keep them as a pet, even encouraging Tufts to settle on their books.
