Speckled Ace is relieved that he and his mare, Indigo Summer, are reunited once again and happily trots out to pasture with her without complaint. Indigo is a little less than enthused, but she leaves Rainy behind (who is very distraught to find that his mare is leaving him after he just scored her) and follows the works of The Black Market outside.
When the workers of The Black Market return, they find...
two healthy foals!

Rusty Musket, the common-colored elephant-sized colt:

Pastel Midnight, the semi-rare-colored cat-sized colt:
They look nothing like the parents whoops I forgot sorry.

The Black Market keepers lead out one horse as soon as the price is paid and turn them over to Eveli.
Say hello to your new-
Wait, what?
What is this?
The Black Market keepers wheel out a tank, and in it is a small seahorse-like creature.
"We call it a Mermaru. It just appeared one day; we aren't sure how it got there. It's taking up space, so just have it." That is all they tell you as they hand the glass tank over.
Her name is Sea-Flower, and she's goldfish-sized!

I was so close to just making another normal one, but I wanted to do something exciting.
So, here we go!
They're called Mermarus, and they live in the water. If they leave the water for more than a few seconds, they die nearly instantly. They're almost always brightly colored, and any common horse colors are considered rare for them. They eat seaweed and krill, and are much, much smaller than Ishmaru. Their sizes range from Seamonkey-sized, to goldfish-sized, to starfish-sized. They're 100k more than the original Ishmaru, but if you ask nicely, you can have one for the same price. c:
