What up, guys and gals and nonbinary pals!
I have characters I need art of.
I have a pretty sum of money.
I want to hire youuuu all to help me get some art for these baberinos.
I've bought art fairly recently of them, but yanno there's never too much.
Melba is a necromancer, but he uses white magic to do it.] is the most canon image I have of him - the magic lines on his face are more angular and runic than the two headshots show. He wears rags a lot, so feel free to change up his clothes! He's a generally serious character but likes surprising his pretty wife with thoughtful gifts such as flowers and small river shells.
Avisa is his wife and is based on a seagull with a bit of a bleeding heart dove thrown in. She's a healer, but, unlike Melba, uses black magic to do her job. She doesn't have a clothes reference, but something plain would suit her fine. She's as stoic as Melba the majority of the time, with a bit more of a temper. She has a kind heart, however, and loves deeply.
A little backstory; Melba is technically undead - some bull about revenge and whatnot basically drove him to reanimate himself shortly (think 1-2 days lol) after dying (hence the not-zombie look he has). Avisa didn't know this, though, and nearly drove herself mad trying to bring him back on her own.
The period they live in is the equivalent to around our 1300s or whatever, so makeup, fancy dress, etc were, if in existence, for royalty only.
So there's that - bit of personality and some info on them.
A few things I very much want to stress - do not forget Melba's coat patterns or scars and try not to mess up his magick lines. These are very important and I'm kinda sick of having them drawn wrong ):
Do also note Melba is meant to be more of a scraggly mutt than a wolf >>
I would like for the two to be drawn as a couple.
Anthro is preferred, human version or feral is fine.
Will accept any form of media!
