~New Eggs Coming Today~ *Adoptable Beasties* Beasties are new-found species created within the very mind of the Astrid-al Plains~ (lolwut). Some of them that we gathered and bred in captivity evolved into many different forms. Some even had an unfortunate side-effect of being taken into an unknown envioronment and mutated into somewhat hideous or frightening creatures. We quickly realized,however, that these creatures remained friendly and affectionate. If an owner can look past their monsterous appearances, they are the perfect companions.
- How many species are there?
We are still uncertian of how many species are roaming about. And unfortunately we are unable to determine what type of species lie within their eggs unless we witness the mother creature lay them (which is,indeed, a rare but wonderous sighting!). The Beasties' eggs only give hints to what their young may look like through colour. But perhaps you can help us with our research and adopt an egg and show us your hatchlings?
- Anything else I should know?
We have developed a few appearence-altering items through our research, and do occasionally find ways to determine what species lie within an egg. We can offer items to change your Beastie's appearance completely, mutate it even more, change its gender, color, markings, etc. If an owner is unhappy with their hatchling(s), they may decide to return the Beastie to our labs. However, you must understand that our laboratory is already crowded as it is, with finding new discoveries and caring for other Beasties and Beastie Hatchlings. You may only abandon your hatches once every three adoption periods. ( Once per three batches of hatchlings released. It's like releasing them once every month, but sometimes I may not have three sets up in one month. I will try my hardest to though. ) Occasionally we may keep your abandoned Beastie if we feel it must belong to an owner of some kind in order for it to live a healthy and happy life, but most of the time, the abandoned Beasties will be placed into our veterinary clinic in the back of the labs. There, we tend to and adopt out the Beasties to loving homes. If you're interested and want a Beastie egg of your own, continue on,friends! Your little Beastie awaits!

The price of this item is waived only if you are requesting another egg because you abandoned a Beastie you were not pleased with. Any other conditions, the price remains. ) 10k
Mutation Syringe: Addsup to two mutations to your Beastie such as Horns,Wings,Fangs,etc. Just about anything you wish to put on your Beastie that isn't already there. Because I draw these traditionally at first it might be tougher for me to do, but it IS Doable. If you wish to add more than two mutations,you must buy another Syringe, but it will be at half price. 8k
Flask of Colour: Changes your Beastie's color scheme to your choice. Does not change the markings on your Beastie. 5k
Flask of Patterns: Changesyour Beastie's markings to your liking. Does not change the colour of your Beastie 5k
Can of Coat Shine: Completely revamps the colour scheme and markings on your Beastie to your liking. 8k
Gender Stone: For later use if you wish to change the gender of your Beastie. 1k
(NEW)Treasure Box: Allows you to add one accessorie to your Beastie. (ex: headphones, ear-buds, collars, cuff links, piercings, etc) You must purchase more than one if you wish to place more than one accessorie (excluding items stated : see deion text below) on your Beastie.

Treasure Box Deion and Additional Information:: The Treasure box has a few exceptions regarding buying additional boxes. Piercings for your Beastie are priced as ONE BOX PER EAR (or wherever else you may pierce the beastie). For example, if you wanted to pierce just one Beastie's ear with 5 different piercings, it would only cost you one box. There is also an exception to multiple items of the exact same kind. For example, if you wanted your Beastie to have one pink bracelet on every leg, or even any number of bracelets on one leg,(anything very simple like this) would only cost you one box. Actual clothing is not included (shirts,pants,etc). Scarfs, gloves, toe-socks, and hats can be exceptions though. Know that articles of clothing like this might take me a bit longer to complete than jewelry or collars. If you are wanting to put any type of copyrighted logo on an accessorie ( band logos, cartoon characters, etc) please know that most of the time it won't be an exact replica. I want to avoid copyright issues, and wish to abide by the laws, and also I'm not really good at copying things. Sometimes I'll be able to just extract a gif and slap it on a cap or something ( like.. idk Gir on a cap or something like that lol) but please understand the rules and understand that I may not always be able to copy a logo word for word, text for text. Sorry for this ;3;
If you ask for accessories that are not as self-explanatory (collars or piercings) please provide a link to some kind of ref. I usually won't know what on earth you're talking about. xD; I'm all for a challenge, but please don't get too ridiculous with the amount of items ^^; ( such as 50 hoops on one ear of a Beastie or something insane like that). I'm only human! ;w;

~Breeding~ Beasties are indeed breedable. I will do a sort of 'coin flip' decision on if the male or female's traits are more dominant. ( Colors, mutations,etc.) This process, just like waiting for babies from any other creatures, takes time and patience. ( I have to make more of the species! ^^ ) For every breeding period, three new eggs will be made. One egg will be given to the male's owner, and one to the female's owner. The remaining egg will stay at the labs, to be available to be adopted out. Hybrids: I will allow interspecies breeding, however, you must allow this even more time than normal breeding. ( I must completely draw a new species that is a hybrid of the species you are combining.) The same procedure applies for this type of breeding as stated above. It costs 100k to breed your Beasties. I'm making a limit on breeding, because it's proved to be incredibly stressful and time-consuming. it's totally fun, but I get SO swamped in work. xD So here's the new rules for Breeding: You may ONLY Breed once every two weeks. This includes an event where you might want to breed with another user who has not used up their breeding limits. Each user must abide by this time frame. However, I will occasionally have plenty of time to work on litters, so if you want to breed, still comment, and I will let you know if I can get to work on it right away or not. I'm also going to set up a list when I do take orders for breeding. I will only work on three litters at a time. Please know that this will take alot of time, sometimes up to a full month. - Abandon one or both of your hatchlings only once per three batches released
- Choose the gender of your Beastie after it is hatched. After this if you wish to change it, it needs to be done with a Gender Stone.
- Rmail me for another set of egg(s) for your adoption if you abandoned your hatches. If you absolutely despise this whole thing,you may ask for a refund. Your period of time for asking for a refund is 24 hours after you've confirmed you've seen your hatchling's appearance either through rmail or comment on this thread. (I'd prefer you to negotiate the terms through rmail if you dislike your hatch and want a new one, or refund. Under certain conditions( myself being away for far too long without warning, or if I feel like something is indeed my fault ) I will refund without question. However, I hope people will enjoy the idea of random and surprise hatches as much as I do. <3
You May Not: - Refuse to give creation of the Beastie to me. I drew these and made these from my mind. Any resemblence to an existing character or creature is completely coincidental,believe me. I have a terrible memory. Even if I wanted to copy something I'd probably get it wrong. xD If you wish to post anywhere I beg of you, give credit of the species to me. Treat it as if it's an art commission!

All Adoptions are made with a 'first come first serve' decision. Whoever posts first about an egg they wish to adopt, will claim it. I'll be looking at the times. If some kind of crazy apocolyptic occurence happens and there's two posts at the same time, I'll make another egg for one of you, but you two have to sort the initial dealing out of who wants a certian color egg way more than someone else. This same procedure will also go for adopting abandoned Beasties. I was originally going to choose a completely random generator, but I decided to just make the eggs represent the beastie's colors. Inside, will lie a beastie, premade, with the colors represented on its egg. This lowers the complete random feature slightly, and hopefully will result in more happy owners. Sounds like a fun idea~! But, one thing/suggestion/something. Would people, after their eggs hatch, if they dislike one or both of their creatures (due to colors, cute/normal/monsterous, markings, gender, ect.) be able to 'abandon' them for another user to adopt. And, if so, would that clear up a spot for anthor egg to be adopted by that user? P; |

Indeed it would, glad you asked that hiara. I didn't think about that, but I was already assuming that in the back of my mind. If you are absolutely displeased with the results of the hatch, they can be abandoned. The abandoned pets are then available for adoption out of their eggs. Their design and species will be of no surprise. I might even decide to keep some abandoned pets ( I admit, I've grown attached to some of my designs already ). I'd really like to keep the little item going that is able to morph the creature though, so I will only allow to abandon one or both your creatures once per three batches (and said item is actually the cheapest under these conditions ). It's a way to keep the adoption pets from becoming too populated as well. The option to get a custom is always available as well, and I may reconsider my custom options. I would hope though that people do take the fun little chance though and adopt a random egg~ |

Species Listings This will include the brief deions of every species found. I will list them here everytime they are released. This includes Hybrids,Monsterosities, Adores, and Normaes. ( Lol I got fancy with the terms. :D ) This will be the only other hint I may give to species. KindlePaw: Every young KindlePaw is born with one unique psychic ability and -only- one. Whether it be telekenisis, mind reading, or premonitions, they are each uniquely gifted. The orb they hold is a mystery to us still, but from what we've discovered it is an incredibly vital part of their lives. The hatchlings we took their orbs from burst into a fit,whimpering and almost crying, while others would scratch and bite in a furious rage. Once the orbs were returned, they were soothed. The colors within the orb also seem to reflect the temperature within. Orbs with cool hues, had a very cold feeling to the touch, while orbs with warm hues, were very hot. Their six legs seemed to make most of the newborns very clumsy, but as they grew older, the extra pair of legs proved to be a gift rather than a burden of clumsiness. They are able to run briskly and gracefully, as well as have an amazing sense of balance. Orychis: Categorized as a 'Monsterous' breed, they may appear frightful at a first glance. Most are laid back and very affectionate. They enjoy being 'scritched' behind their ears and under their chins. Inside their powerful jaws are two sets of fangs, much like that of a snake's. They are indeed venomous if used to puncture the skin. The fin-spikes along their backs are also poison-tipped. The owner must be careful to not let themselves be scratched by these tips. The venom Orychis produces is not fatal, but extremely potent and may leave its victoms unconcious for several days. Having a huge and caring heart, the Orychis will tend to their masters who have fallen victom to an addicental puncture wound from their fangs or spikes. They will not hesitate to use these powerful weapons against a threat. Kainuu: This Beastie is also categorized as 'monsterous' mostly for it's unique appendages. Spikes and horns cover the sides of its face, curving around it's long flat ears and cheeks. Its hind legs bare a striking resemblence to that of a dinosaur's (particularly a raptor) and front legs are merely long,sharpened hoof-like claws(three on each foot) blanketed by several tufts of soft fluff. Its fur is incredibly smooth and silky to the touch, and they seem to love to be groomed. Despite their bulky build, they are incredibly fast, yet their steps are far from graceful. They may look carniverous with their ominous claws and spikes, but they prefer to graze upon fields and stomp around in a playful manner. Florabelle: Smaller than most of our Beastie species, this little airborne creature loves to sing to the one it loves the most, wether it be a mate or a most beloved owner. Their beaks proved a quick snatch and clamp to any prey it finds. Their name derives from the plant 'Bell Flower' because of the impressive appearance of their tails. They use their tails to lure any insects who might prey upon the pollen of flowers, then with a quick flick of its tail and a snap of its beak, it devours a tasty meal of a honeybee, mantis, or any other insect on the menu. They are mostly very brightly colored,both male and female, but there has been on occasional chance that a Florabelle may hatch with rather dull earth tones on their feathers. Nontheless, they are always rather beautiful. Kainupa: Bred as aHybrid between the existing species known as the Kainuu and Kindlepaw. This Beastie is stocky in its build and extremely powerful. It rakes it's sharp, thick claws on its front feet across rocks, trees, or any other part of nature around its habitat to mark its territory. Every Kainupa has a different 'scratch mark' that it uses for this. Owners should take caution and be prepared for furniture to be torn to shreds if they do not own a proper scratching log or post. Their call is a very low-pitch but loud howl-like song. Some have described it to sound like a mix between a coyote's howl, a cow's moo, and an elk's song. The sound makes even the sturdiest house shake, however from afar, the sound is incredibly beautiful. These Beasties are excellent with young children and babies including young of other Beasties. If a Kainupa happens to find an abandoned litter of any other species, it will attempt to care for the young until they are strong enough to fend for themselves. Kindlebelle: Yet another Hybrid, bred from a Kindlepaw and Florabelle. These Beasties are incredibly playful at heart and lightning-quick. They enjoy racing through the air with members of their pack. Some of the lab members have nicknamed this Beastie "Narcissus's Gryphon" due to its appearance and behaviours. We've noticed these Beasties sometimes like to glide over surfaces of water and stare down into their reflection. They seem to smile and call out in a cheerful chirp after staring at themselves for a few minutes. Some even lose track of their own flight-path and fall clumsily into a wave or stump in the water. They've a rather short attention span so to a laid-back owner they may be a great deal of trouble. If someone is willing to play with them, or if a family has children of their own,however, they are more than likely going to prove to be one of the best pets you could ever own. Orybelle: A hybrid made from breeding the Orychis and Kindlebelle Beastie. Like Kindlebelles, they have an incredibly confident attitude and with good reason! Their bodies are slick, tight, and built for speed. Much like the modern world animals known as 'Greyhounds' they love to run, pumping the muscles in their legs for long bursts, sprinting about and lunging over cliffs and hills. Their wings are very small, making them unable to become airborn...but some say that their speed can qualify for flight. Their tails are very long and whip-like. Anyone who might be in the way of this lightning-quick Beastie should keep a safe distance. The Orybelle may have quick enough reflexes to dodge you, but it's tail is surely to take a damaging blow to whatever it hits, cutting deep into the flesh if the Orybelle is running fast enough.
