I think, since you're having so many orders and having such a hard time getting enough tu from it, you should raise your prices o3o These adoptables are easily worth 200K apiece. I don't know what you charge(I think it's 50K o3o' I'm a horrid stalker xD I just want an egg o3o) but it's deffinetely worth more <3 Same with the color changes and crud. The treasure chest is worth 50K, the color changes about 25K, the marking changes worth 50K... I mean, you can be getting some BIG tu from this if you priced them a but accordingly o3o

XD Age has nothing to do with this. Yes, sometimes the elders are more experienced and are sometimes more right, but I've heard this from others besides you. I know they're worth alot more. Heck, my art commissions are priced cheaply in my opinion. I've been told I should charge alot more for my works. And honestly, I agree. But, I don't get customers when I charge more. And from the way my turnout is, I've decided that I get more profit if I charge less, and attract customers more, than charge what I believe it's worth, and get a huge decrease in customers.

My actual commissions worth true currency, I haven't had a customer in a full year now. And it SUCKS. Because I could really use the money alot. Especially now. But I keep seeing people throw adoptables around for real currency, and they are snatched up. So I decide, hey, I'd like to do that, but to make it morth their money more, I'll make up entireley new species. And when I did this, no one bought them and they were CHEAP. 1.50$ a pop. No one cared about em though. :|

The artist's world, online, is tough. You have to be popular, or you're not going anywhere. You're not making a single dime. The same looks like it goes for real world too. And it's sad but true.

I limit myself to low prices because I know deep down I can't get the prices I wish for. Because the economy, real world, or even res, is not good enough to support the prices I'd hope for. I try to steadily increase my prices, but each increase I give, the less orders I get, the less profit I make.

I wish I could charge that much,sheta. But I don't think I can. I don't think I'd be able to continue making commissions or adoptables like this, because sooner or later, those who might order from me, will run out of interest, or feel they've gotten their fill. Which is fine, but then I have no more customers. At least with cheaper prices, the customers will never stop.

It is bittersweet on many levels though, I do agree. Perhaps I will raise the prices, because it's getting to be extremely popular, and I do work hard on them. I only worry about losing people's interest because of the price increase. I enjoy doing these, but I enjoy profiting from them as well, indeed.

the adoption center is only 10k I think ( can't remember lol) And no one has really abandoned any so there's never any in there xD; I might start making pets for only the adoption center though, but they'll be like, very limited.

I'm working on a few new species soon. Don't count on them being released with the next batch, but I will tell you I'm working on them, and they might be out next week and they might not.

~Something to know~

I'm going to be moving this adoptables thread soon. This was my first thread I had ever written, so it is sloppy, unorganized, and difficult to follow. I plan on making a new thread, with two mods, possibly one more.

My helpers will be ShaoXbaby23 and Ladynightfyre. We have been discussing back and forth ways to help me out. I had no Idea my adoptables were going to become so incredibly popular, and it's becoming a problem. Shao will be assisting me with designs and otherwise. Ladynightfyre will be assisting me with orders, and any other form of written work.

I might be accepting one other mod to help me out, but I'm not accepting just anyone. I will personally come to you if I feel you can help us out. I don't mind if you offer, but please know that I'm not going to base my decision on what you offer as help. I will base it on how much I might trust this person, what skills they might have, etc. I may not even accept another helper. It's really just a thought.

This is rather low profit, so if you are paid for your assitance, it is a privelage. I've been told already that I do not have to pay my current helper, Shao. But I probably am going to pay her in some form anyway, because I think that's right. Payment will not neccessarily be in the form of TU. It might be in art,favors, etc. 

I'm just one person, so please be patient with me. As well as with Shao and Lady. Treat them with respect and gratitude for however they may help you. I will not tolerate any bashing or negativity towards them. If you insult me that's one thing. If you insult them, I'll eat you with a ham sammich. So be nice! D:

When I move this thread, I will give a link to the new one. I will place it on the last page and front page.

I will be changing a few things, but most of what is already in existence will remain. I will be adding forms, changing prices, and arranging various things to make my adoptables more organized and easy to follow. 

If you happen to see my thread while it is still in the process of being made, I IMPLORE you to not post. I am wanting Lady and Shao to make their own reserve posts, to describe what they might be in charge of, and so on.

Having helpers will be a huge advantage, especially since we are all on different time schedules. Shao seems to be very active while I am sleeping. 

There will be no special treatment with my helpers other than the obvious. So do not worry about them getting free adoptables or more than one a day or anything like that. I am relatively leniant about alot of things, but that doesn't mean I'm going to treat someone lesser than someone else. The people who help me out of course will recieve a payment in some form, and will be rewarded for their kind efforts to help me out, now that this has gotten so big. But please don't call them out or feel hurt if they happen to post on my thread, as mods, wanting an adoptable. Everyone is free to have what they want as long as it is to my ability. 

Until I've announced my new thread, take action to this current thread according to the rules already established. Make sure to rmail me for any questions or concerns. Comment on this thread, but also rmail me to ensure I get the message. 

Those of you who had information and help offerings for a website, rmail me too. I'd appreciate it~

::IMPORTANT::

I will be gone for 5 days starting today after work, 6pm res time. I will be going on a road trip ( god help me now) with my cousin ( okay never mind just shoot me,god. ) to St. Louis Missouri to my uncle's place for the 4th of July. The road trip will last two days, and during this time ( wednesday evening and thursday) I will be without internet. At my uncle's place, inbetween partying, I will be working on adoptables and item orders as much as possible. I'm more than sure my uncle has internet there, but my laptop can be kind of wonky at times when it comes to connecting to a new wifi area. My boss is leaving for England to visit his son, as a vacation. On Monday, when my cousin and I get back, I'll be at work and most likely be able to draw a bit more at work. I won't have as many problems to deal with hopefully by this time, but still continue to bear with me.

I will from now on have a few helpers with my adoptables thread, and they will gladly assist you in purchasing, and otherwise with these adoptables. Shao will be designing Beasties with me, and hers so far are beautiful and awesome! Ladynightfyre as well will be helping out with keeping everything organized. This thread is getting too big for me to handle well, considering I'm an extremely unorganized person >.>; Any help from you guys is appreciated as well, if you rmail me with copies of what you ordered, reserved, and so on.

I've changed up the prices, I apologize but I think it's what needs to happen. These are obviously being thrown off the shelves like 5 dollar flat screen tv's on black friday. I work very hard on them, and I think maybe they're worth a bit more than what I'm letting them go for. I might even still be making them too cheap, but I'll decide that later.

I've also added new features, and Shao has added contest pets. I will be holding auctions on very special pets that are worked on very very very hard. If the auctions go well, I'll continue doing them.

If you have Beasties posted here, please save them to your computer. I do still have the images on me, but I would rather not rumage through and try to figure out which one is who's. Please try to take your Beastie's images and save them for yourself. You can do this by right clicking the image, and selecting save as or download or any of the sort.
