Looking to do a flash game collab~

'Ello, there. :) I'm looking for someone to do a flash game collaboration with me. By this, I mean I need someone to do the coding and such while I'll provide all the art; backgrounds, sprites, and any animations included. If you want to see the general gist of my sprites, feel free to check my deviantart here. I can do many others, most of the ones there are just for fun (as in, I will shade and such on sprites for the game; I'd love it to keep a pixelly feel though). Here's the basics:

What I will do

I will make quality sprites and art for this game. No slack on effort.

I will help you on coding as much as I know, and try and find help if you get stuck.

I will love you forever. o////o

I will help you in other things, too, such as Kirs Quest and your goals.

I'll do whatever I can, in short. lD

 

What I am looking for

You know coding in flash at least enough for a game with gravity, keyboard controls (I can help with this a tiny bit), and a character that is animated (I will provide sprites!).

You can communicate often, at least a once/twice a week (preferably more but we all have lives).

You won't lose interest and enjoy seeing our progress! :D

 

If you fit most or all of these, I'd be glad to have you post here. I'm totally open to questions and more but I don't want this post to get too boring lol.

What are you planning on working on?

I used to code flash back in as2 days, however now I'm busy with java instead

 As much as it is, I could help with coding and such, but flash isn't the kind of program that people tend to sprite for, and usually people just go and draw vectors instead =/

Are you sure you want the game to be in flash?

No, to be honest. ^^;

I don't know much about Flash, or animating programs. Java seems awesome too.

I would love it if you would do a collaboration with me using Java or whatever prefered program you choose. Bottom line is I'm not good at coding or things, but I know that I can do sprites and I do have ideas. This would not be all me. Any and all revenue from the game (Yes, ad revenue is possible. There are lovely websites that publish your game and allow you to gain from ads and such.) would be split according to work and effort, hopefully 50/50, however if the game is tough to code I will gladly split the profit accordingly. :)

lol Fizzy that sounds awesome, I'm only really looking to get experience with coding at the moment so if you want to discuss revenue, maybe do it later down the line (when the game would be more developed) because I'm not looking to make money off my code right now XD

Okay so you want to give me a quick deion of what kind of engine you want for the game? I could start off by making a crude engine to start off with and use circles as indicators and such

Okay sent. At this point I'm gonna make the camera follow the main figure and fix that annoying inconsistency with it's jumping. At this point I need to know how you want me to construct the game world - for example do you want me to use tiles? (games that use this include ones like sonic or pokemon where they use sprites for the game world) Or giant blocks (which then I would do coding different sets of sizes for the blocks) or if you have something else in mind...

Tell me if something is easier for you one way or another. 

Also, not to be a bother, but do you think gravity should be adjusted so that you can float a bit more? Not literally float, but jump a bit farther.

And I tried the engine, it's awesome lol :D

Oh man sorry for the lateness, I've been moving and haven't had access to a computer for ages D=

I'll adjust the gravity, but as for the tiles I'l probably need to know what size they are first (in pixels) or if you already have some sprites you could send them over so I can start working those into the game
