A small suggestion: If you're going traditional, get the darkest sharpies/pens/pencils you can. Avoid anything that looks gritty. This way you can even edit on Photoshop/Sai/etc so it looks like it's digital! Many artists do it this way c:
Just remember to make it as clean as you can. Practice a lot so you develop a steady hand, and don't forget: Once you draw on paper, it creates a small ridge in it's surface. Those ridges can cause distortions and blurs when you go over them again!
