Rika seems concerned by how cold her barebat has gotten. He's acting fine, though, so she lets it go in favor of standing up and heading over to a nice place where she could sit with her beloved barebat and examine the changes he appeared to be going through. "I'm glad you feel okay," she murmurs as she rubs behind one of his long ears.

Cloaked looks at his hand in awe. Festus's flames didn't burn him! He smiles and pats him fondly. Standing up, he looks around. What should he do? He decides to take a walk through the twisting trees. He tries not to step on the vegetation, while keeping his eyes and ears open for danger. The Barebat Swarm seems to have left him on edge. |

Holidays321 picks up Shima and sets her gently on her shoulder. She looks at the book which now seems to be a bit more happy. Mabye it was the song she thought. She looked at it and tapped her hands on the slightly colored page and instead of humming she starts singing it and smiles slightly, well after her scratching the book and starting the whole event it seemed like the vale did get something good out of it. They got the beautiful little barebats which now where tame, she had never really thought about it that way.

As Sona flips over the piece of paper, a look of confusion crosses her face. Written on the back in bright red letters is a random assortment of letters that make no sense, which she reads aloud. After reading the numbers and making a mental note to keep them in mind, she slips the paper back into her pocket. |

She had always loved mythology. It had been this strange quirk of the girls. This one, this cutey with it's dark appearance, had reminded her much of an Egyptian God she had read about once. Shaking her head, she glanced one last time at the bat she caught, nodded at it, and then turned her attention to the bat nudging at her hand. "Did you know, little thing, that I have been compared to a bat myself back in my world? Nocturnal as can be, hearing above average, and blind as...well, a bat." The brunette smiled and knelt before the creature. "We go together, you and I. I'm Doctor, though I've been called Lake for as long as I've been around. Only recently has that changed. It's great to meet you." The grin she gave the adorable thing was large and she scratched behind one of it's ears quickly.
"We'll have to explore this land together. Partners, k?" Not that she was sure the creature would understand, but talking to it just sort of felt natural.
