It is assumed that enough time had passed that you'd be in the group again, though it never has to be an absolute group. Visitors can go on their own and stray away from the group at any time, though, during large events, it is implied that visitors will always be able to make their way back before it is too late.

Cloaked looks up at the darkening sky. " Prepare for battle!" He shouts to the others and readies his net, waiting for the creatures to descend.

Cloaked- Just as an FYI, since this IS a large encouter, you will probably not be able to take them all on alone, and will eventually have to spend your time defending yourself. Unless you get like amazing odds in the generator. That being said, if you want to wait to create any actions once I post the swarm, you may. I am going to post it very late, so others will not be around to help. It's up to you if you want to wait, but then again, I probably will be going to bed soon myself, so you may not have to suffer too many turns, considering turns may only be taken again once I've replied to a first one.
The swarm will be arriving very soon.

I have absolutely no idea what's going on :D if the bidding is still going on, could I bid 2mil on the sour seed? While I'm doing that I might as well hunker down and wait for something to pop out from the bushes... *holds a net and a sandwich*

Bidding will continue while events are happening. Events are the main focus, but other things are allowed to happen such as using items, and bidding.

The shrieking creatures draw closer until they are right on top of the auction grounds. Their forms are completely revealed, and visitors can see the creatures fully now, as they zoom through the skies and hover while shrieking and batting their wings heavily as a threat display. Some even flap towards The Great Tree itself and begin to munch on the fruits.
BareBats have invaded the portal of The Great Tree! These nasty creatures seem to come from the Acid Swamps, where chemicals have seeped into their portal and mutated every creature within. BareBats are mostly hairless aside from the small mane atop their heads and around their necks. Their tails are equipped with a sharp barb, filled with some rather nasty poison! They are travel in large groups in their natural environment, and have seemingly bottomless stomachs. They eat everything in sight as long as it smells sweet.
The scent of the fruits has lured them from the broken link hole. Quickly! We must do something to stop them or else they will completely devour our food source and kill the trees! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Defend The Great Tree!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Visitors! Take action and strike now! Use your nets or weapons. New visitors may join the fight at any time, just pick your method to help us and step in! This may take a while to handle, so act cautiously, help your friends, and possibly invite others to help take arms in capturing or defeating these creatures!   <- Levels ->X : X : X   <- Levels ->X : X : X   <- Levels ->X : X : X   <- Levels ->X : X : XThe difficulty level of these creatures are labeled from left to right below them. An 'X' in place of their level means they have been captured or defeated.Visitors, choose your individual opponents. You may post your action, and then your success rate will be determined through the same generator that determined the levels of these BareBats. If you participate in this event, please read the guidelines posted on the front of this thread, under one of the new discoveries. There will be an entry speaking of Swarms. Please read this to know how to interact, and read others previous actions for examples on how to enter your action. It can be very creative and perhaps a paragraph long, or just one simple sentence. Remember, you may see the BareBats and like them now, but you are only given the option to help capture or defeat them. After the event is over, captured ones will be tamed in the corral by Mangodile, and will be available for purchase as special event companions. If you fall in battle, you must defend yourself. ( You will no longer be able to post actions, aside from S.O.S's. Another visitor must sacrifice their turn at an action to perform a 'Rescue' and get you back on your feet to fight and give you a weapon. ) If someone chooses to fight them with a weapon, the creature they kill will be destroyed. Cloaked handles his net with a bit of awkwardness. Now that the creatures were close, he seemed a bit hesitant to attack. Picking out a target he throws the net hoping the blackish bat's wings get entangled in the net. |

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cloaked's Encounters-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- An average strength BareBat has met its match against the Blessed visitor, Cloaked. With a skilled toss of his net, almost as if guided by an unseen force, the creature cries out and plumets to the ground. It shrieks wildly and thrashes, lifting its tail and attempting to pierce the net, pushing its tail venom out around the ground away from where the BareBat has landed. As the creature struggles, one of its talons chips off and is partially buried in the earth. Soon, the BareBat tires itself, and Mangodile rushes over, taking it to be tamed in the corral.Your net has received minimal damage, though it appears you have access to some loot! Will you attempt to collect both, or only one?

Shao, if you want to participate in the event, I must ask that you decide upon choosing a weapon, or a capturing device. Read the guidelines on the front of the thread to know what to do. It's all based highly upon random generators and slight roleplay as well as a great deal of creativity and risks. :>

Cloaked grins like a school boy as he manages to defeat his first opponent. He watches Mangodile take the poor Barebat away. He would visit it later. He turns to try an attempt taking one piece of loot. |

Cloaked, yes you can use the net again. You can use it until it breaks! And when you decide to take only one of the available loot pieces, you must specify which one. The other will be lost, or be able to be found later by another user perhaps in some strange way. It is rare to get two lootable items available, but there is a chance to lose both. If you still want to only try for one, specify which one. The Talon or the Venom. ( if you choose the venom, I will magically supply you with a beaker or something, don't worry).
Shao, haha I'm sorry, I gotta give you a net that has a certain effiency. You may not even be able to craft one. First you need to find materials to make one. Once you make your 'attempt', I will reply with if you were successful. Take a look at some of the other users' posts if you need to as examples of how to 'attempt' to craft a net. :) x3 Sorry It's confusing ^//^;

After you do so, I'll reply and let you know if your net is a success. It may end up being a low quality net, or very very good and last you very long.
it's alright though, I'm tired too. it's understandable. This is definitely not your average adoptable thread. You can keep it as simple as you want. :>
