Greetings! Three more flygers have arrived and are ready to move in with donors!
Bella, Herakles, and Blackberry are excited to meet their new human companions! The minimum donation for a flyger is 30 mil, and if you have one of last week's flygers, you may not claim any of these three.

I am not going to donate for another friend for Apollo just yet, but I felt the terrible need to say how truly adorable this entire group is!

A woman walks by, bringing a few Flygers to check in at the center, and see who was leaving the colony this time. With Stormcloud still settling in, it wasn't the right time to invite one of them to come home, but they were still curious to see who it was.
Knowing how much supporting the effort to save the Flygers meant to Storm, the human with him handed him an envelope. While Frost crouched down beside the human, just watching, Stormcloud raced over, running a few circles around Samwise before giving the envelope to one of the researchers. "We'd like to make a donation! So more humans can learn about the plights of the colony. Maybe you can find a good human to spread the word? Maybe that one?" They turn, gesturing a wing back towards Samwise.

These are all absolutely adorable.~ I worry Leon might be a bit lonely though, and I would love to donate for a companion for him if I may? Perhaps he and Bella would get along? I'll send the Tu along momentarily!

Art Update:
Hey all! I'm really appreciating the kind comments <3 I've changed the flyger's base to include backlighting so they "pop" a little better, especially with darker palettes. I added the backlighting to the previous designs as well, as you can see here:
The art on the donor list will also be updated!

Alcarie; The calico-coloured flyger perks up at the mention of Leon, one of her old friends. She eagerly approaches you once your donation is received.
Bella grew up feeling self-conscious about her markings-- having half of her body look completely different from the other made her worry that others pay perceive her as incohesive and messy. However, after much reassurance and kindness from her friends and family, she has learned to love herself and her very unique appearance. She would love to be able to spread this message to humans, too; that everyone is unique, and individuality is a wonderful thing.
Samwise; Blackberry seems to almost blush at the compliment, if flygers were capable of blushing. They happily join you at your request.
Blackberry is a mysterious flyger, often seeming distant or aloof in the eyes of their colony. However, this is not truly the case-- they merely enjoy quiet observation, and being around others without needing so much to engage with them. They are not a loner or antisocial by any means, just content to be in the presence of friends.
SchemesandDreams; the albino flyger had seemed a little lonely, before you announced that you would like to take him home. He seems very grateful as he bounds over to you.
Herakles is one of his colony's warriors. His philosophy is that strength is not only physical, or even mental, and the strongest of all are those who treat others kindly and stand up for anyone who can't defend themselves. He strives to be an example and always do what is right, but also knows that mistakes are easily made, and does not expect anyone to be perfect.

I would love to offer Azul a home, if they would be interested in joining my tiny band of Flygers?

I would like to offer a space in my den for Luna. Vino could use some companionship from another Flyger, and I look forward to having another room in my den being taken up.

BoredDragon; the blue and orange flyger zips over to you as soon as your donation is received. He seems very eager to go home with you!
Azul is swift and agile, both on his paws and in flight. There's no-one faster in the colony. Along with having physical speed, he is also prone to having a somewhat short attention span, and seeks stimulation when unoccupied. He isn't overbearing, but definitely needs a human who will be able to keep up with him. Having toys and puzzles around the house to keep him content and occupied is highly recommended if he is to thrive in his new home, as is the company of one or more flygers.
Tombstone; the bright yellow flyger emerges somewhat timidly from behind the researcher who accepts your donation and tentatively steps towards you.
A little-known fact about flygers is that if necessary, they can be omnivorous. Similar to species like horses, which are widely considered herbivorous but have been observed eating meat, it was a misconception for some time that flygers were strictly carnivores. However, as their prey grew scarcer, Lapis' colony began to forage for vegetation to keep themselves fed. While a flyger's diet should mainly consist of meat, these flygers don't seem to be lacking in nutrition from their combined diet of meats and plants. In fact, some flygers actually prefer plants over meat, though they will eat both. Grapefruit is one such flyger; they will happily eat meat, but their favourite foods are fruits-- especially citrus. Make sure you have a fridge stocked with all sorts of juicy fruits for them to enjoy!
Antiarctic; The indigo-striped flyger trots over to you once your donation is accepted, giving you a curious sniff.
Luna loves nothing more than gazing at the sky on a calm, clear night. The flygers have their own names for constellations, and she knows of every one of them by heart. Even better is flying-- the higher you are in the sky, the closer to the stars you are. On some nights, it feels as though she can reach out and grasp them in her paws. She hopes to meet a human who is just as fascinated with the cosmos as she is.

Oh boy. XD Sounds like fun. He sounds like a lot for Frost, but I'm sure Stormcloud will be happy to help keep him entertained.
