Welsh Shepherds, or Welshies, are a recently discovered breed of dog. They’re closely related to Mudi, but they possess some sheep-like qualities. They come in longhaired and shorthaired varieties, a constant being that their fur is curly and feels like new, fluffy towels. The noises they make have been described as a mixture between sheep and fox. They have a very wide range of sounds, and they're very vocal too!

A rather interesting quality that was noticed by researchers was their eyes. It had us stumped for a while, but we found out that a Welshie’s eyes are a reflection of their personality. The few known eye color and personality trait combinations that have been studied are as follows;

Blue = Always sleepy. This Welshie will want to stay home all the time and sleep on outings.

Cyan = Neutral. Nothing bothers them, and they’re fairly easy to please.

Red = Mean to most strangers, but extremely loyal to its owner. It might also eat all of your mashed potatoes while you're not looking.

Yellow = Kind, warm-hearted pups that enjoy summer.

Pink = Affectionate and always seeking attention.

Black = Incredibly happy, overjoyed by the smallest things. Their favorite season is winter.

Brown = Calm and oddly attracted to shiny things. They smell like cinnamon.

As of yet, it’s unknown if there are any other eye colors.

They were found in a remote meadow in Wales. The population was small and the dogs were timid. Through extensive breeding projects and experimentation, they’re now the perfect companions. It took a long time to get to this point, but they're now available to a select few- for the right price!

You can purchase a fully-grown Welsh Shepherd for 10,000,000 tu.

The price has gone up due to an unexpected interest. Anyone who has purchased a Welshie beforehand does not have to pay more for their current dog.

Puppies are currently unavailable, as it takes a long while to train them.

In order to breed Welshies, you must first purchase a license. Licences can be found in the shop when there are any in stock. These are a one-time purchase and allow you to buy Breeding Request Forms. Any one person can breed their Welshies to another person's, with their permission, as long as they own a license and purchase a form.

Forms can be purchased one at a time, with a max of 1 per person until used. After that, they can be used once every 2 weeks per Welshie to give the momma some time to rest up ^^

A single litter of Welshies could contain anywhere from one to three pups.
