Masks: Secrets
has been known to show off six different masks. Though most have failed to see
her seventh one, there has been talk that it exists.

The Jester- With its overall coloring being royal purple and black,
this mask screams trickery and deceit. Silver tassels hang off of thin, curling
stems that protrude from the mask. The small silver things themselves do not
move, but when in light, give the appearance of movement. The eye slits are
triangular with the base tilted toward the back end of the mask, and a point
toward the nose. The nose is upturned, in a pointed hook.

The Silent- Much like the mask plague doctor’s wear, the Silent is a
mask with an oddly elongated nose. The mask coloring itself is a soft, creamy
yellow with dark gray shadowing under its eyes. The nose, mostly resembling a
beak, stretches over the space just above Secrets’ mouth. She cannot talk when
she wears this mask.

The Serene- The edges of this mask are rounded and do nothing to bring
out Secrets’ more narrow, sharply cut features. It actually softens them. A
dark, forest green is the main color of this mask. The edges are brown and a
soft orange which give off the aura of fallen leaves, and the changing of
seasons. A single vine stretches from the bottom most corner of the left side
of the mask, to just above her left eye. The vine is a softer green than the
mask. Buds will form in spring, will almost—but will never—blossom in the
summer, and will begin to die in the fall. Of course, in the winter, it hangs
just a brown, withered husk.

The Foreboding- Like the ocean itself, nothing can quite be expected
from this mask. You can look at Secrets and see her in a state of tranquility
and peace, but there will be doubt in your mind from whether she will lash out
or not. This mask is a dark blue with gentle waves of sky blue that flow in
swirls along the mask itself. When Secrets begins to drift to the darker side
that comes with the mask, the mask itself will turn a shade of blue-green, and
the waves will move and crash angrily against the sides of the mask. The eye
slits are widened to show a more innocent appearance.

The Corrupt- Crimson coloring that resembles almost-dried blood is the
color of this mask. The shape of the mask itself is the typical half mask, but
the mask stretches down past her cheek bones to end in jagged points at either
corner of her mouth. A diagonal black line cuts through the right side of this
mask in what could look like a scar if it had been on a human face. When in
this mask, Secrets’ personality is more outgoing, yet she can speak rambling
nonsense if too many things pressure her at once. Watch out for the bite that
comes with this mask.

The Burned- This is Secrets’ most grotesque mask, one that she rarely
goes about in. Others have dubbed the mask the Hopeless simply because it
portrays all of Secrets’ history, and the mask she wore when she became
herself. It is a burnt umber color with dark flecks of black that are scattered
near the top right corner of the mask and slowly darken as they go down
diagonally across her face. Near the crest of her eyes, the color is an angry
red, and just under her eyes is a soft blue. Different to every other mask,
this one covers her whole face. The lips are turned down in an eternal frown.
