Undini

 

Undini was the first to become an element God.  The God who had control of all the elements, Paerlz, allowed the Orb of the Oceans to choose its master on its own.  Its master would claim the title as the Water God or Goddess.  The Orb found Undini while she was still mortal and watched her.  Undini was a girl who was trying to find the person who she could spend her life with.  She thought she had found him, but due to a careless but harmless mistake she had made, he left her.  Undini fell into a depression and ran to her safe haven- the ocean.  Soon she realized that it wasnt her fault- the person she had loved was just looking for a pathetic excuse to leave her.  Undini felt better and continued on with her life. 

 

All this time the Orb watched her and saw that the Tesuri had the ability to move on.  It was impressed.  A few weeks later, Undini encountered her ex-lover while swimming in the ocean.  He was arguing with a Murren who had this scheming look in his eyes.  Undini didnt interefere- she merely watched.  Before her eyes, the Murren shoved her ex-lover into the ocean- from a high cliff..  There was no sharp rocks below, but Undini knew that he was deathly afraid of water.  Without a second thought, she dove into the water.  She saved him, and before he could see who his savior was, swam away.  The Orb was shocked at this.  Undini did not miss him- but she was sad because she had no one.  The orb took action. 

 

 

The soon-to-be-Water-Goddess spent her time mostly in the water for she felt free.  In the form of a wave that did not crash forwards or move, the Orb confronted her.  It explained how she seemed fit to be its master and how she would become the Water Goddess.  Undini was hesitant, but the thought of being able to truly become part of the water she treasured allured her.  While she did wish for a lover, the sea would be her temporary companion.  Undini accepted the Orb, making her the first elemental God.  She was happy.  The water was her friend, and it spoke to her.  It promised her that someday she would find the one that she would spend forever with.  That was the reason Undini still tries her hardest- because she is intent on seeing that day.

 

For now, she ensures the balance in the world in her section- the water.  She is the water.  She is Undini.  And she is content.  Because she has two lovers- the sea, and herself.
