"How do you have an indoor-only otachi? They're usually roaming creatus!" Rain looks up from where he's measuring flour into a bowl.

"Foundling was abandoned as a baby. I found them and took them in." He tucks some sleek, white hair behind one ear. "They prefer to be indoors- And underfoot." Rain chuckles into a crooked finger as his guest trips on the creatu plopped behind Rain's ankles.

The little creatu yawns in a wide display of perfectly white teeth before licking their lips and settling back into Rain's ankles to nap.

Rain's eyes go soft and he wipes the flour onto his pants as best he can. Foundling purrs happily in a repetitive half-shorn noise as their human buries his fingers in their scruff.

"They're just my little baby, isn't that right Foundy?"

The creatu looks up in obvious adoration for the human that took them in and warmed them. Fed them. Took them to the vet when they had parasites and missing fur.

They snuggle back in, flopping onto their side and falling into a snooze in the warm kitchen with yellow walls and lace curtains.

Rain smiles and continues measuring what he can without direct contact. Otachie fur isn't just on his sweater at this point and while he's used to random hair in his food, he didn't think his guest would appreciate the additive.

Rain's eyes widen as his otachie begins to purr with a vengeance. The human turns his head as best he can to look at the creatu behind him. His entire body relaxes when he sees that his guest has helped themselves to Foundling's tummy, petting the furry creatu while losing their fingers in their fur.

"An indoor otachi, huh."

"Yep." Rain couldn't help but smile softly as his little indoor baby won over yet another heart.
