It has come to my attention that I need to reiterate something to everyone here. Please read this, as it is very important and very serious.

Rescreatu is a free service to all of you. Our staff put countless hours of work into this game for your enjoyment. We spend thousands of dollars improving and maintaining the game. The advertisements you see generate very little revenue and for those of you who use ad blocking software, please reconsider what you are doing. You are blocking ads on a website that provides you a free service that you enjoy.

This post, however, is not focused on Ad Blocking. This is a much bigger problem. The Credit Shop at Rescreatu is an optional way that you players can help support Rescreatu and keep the game online. We believe we have designed a very fair system which does not give a great advantage to players who spend money, yet also rewards them accordingly. Many of you have decided that the Credit Shop is an option for you to abuse. Let me review our policy.

We do not give refunds from the Credit Shop. It clearly states this on the page.

You cannot order credits, spend them in the Credit Shop, and then request a refund. Many players in the past, and much more recently, have decided that they can simply issue charge backs through their credit card company or issue a reversal through PayPal. Unfortunately, there is little we can do about this.

We have been lenient and have not IP banned many of you for this. Starting now, we will be much more strict on this issue. Anyone who orders credits and then forces a charge back will have their account, as well as their IP, banned permanently from Rescreatu and you will not be welcomed back. You would not buy a pair of shoes, wear them all year, and then return them to the store. You wouldn't buy food, eat it, and then expect to get your money back. Purchasing credits, spending them, and charging back at a later time is the same thing. Just because it is a virtual, intangible good does not make it OK to steal.

We rely on the Credit Shop to support the site. Please do not ruin it for everyone else.
