DOCTORS ORDERS
The blinking red sign happens to catch your eye, which is to be expected when it's jutting out from the only landmark around for miles. The first thing you've seen in... who knows how many hours of traveling. The small, crooked building stands completely alone in this vast stretch of black sand. It is by no means inviting, but neither is the night. <p>Opening the glass door, you find yourself inside what looks like your average 24/7 pharmacy/corner store combo– apart from the strange darkness that hovers around the ceiling and the counter at the back. And the overwhelmingly sterile hospital smell. And all of the neon signs. So, so many neon signs. They are plastered all over the store with various odd messages written out in blinding shades of green and red, things like "DO YOU NEED A CHECKUP?" and "PRIORITIZE PROGRESS!" and "YOU CAN BE FIXED." One is hanging directly in front of you, larger than any of the other signs. It reads: </p> <p>"YOU ARE SICK AND THE ONLY CURE IS TO GIVE ALL YOUR CASH TO ME"</p>
